Growing Japanese persimmons
Due to the truth that it is a subtropical tree, its cultivation in our conditions is not possible. On the other hand, you can get more resistant varieties, i.e., for example, a hybrid of Japanese and Virginia persimmons or Japanese persimmons grafted onto the base of the most resistant Caucasian persimmon. In any case, it is suitable for sunny habitats that are protected from the wind and permeable and nutritious soil. And remember that the young plants in winter are ideal for tiling evergreens.
